Dr Rahul Thomas is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep physician at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. He secured the National Health and Medical Research Council post graduate scholarship to pursue a PhD in his primary area of interest of paediatric flexible bronchoscopy. He was central in setting up of the aerodigestive clinic at Queensland Children’s Hospital - a multi disciplinary clinic comprising paediatric respiratory, paediatric gastroenterology, paediatric thoracic surgery, paediatric ENT surgery, physiotherapists, speech pathology, and dietetics to help look after complex patients with aerodigestive issues. In partnership with the Queensland Lung Transplant service at The Prince Charles Hospital, he also established the Paediatric Lung Transplant Service at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in 2021 to look after paediatric lung transplant patients who return from the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne (the Nationally Funded Paediatric Lung Transplant Centre in Australia). He is also the service lead for the Flexible Bronchoscopy Service at the Queensland Children’s. He also reviews and publishes in his area of interest of paediatric flexible bronchoscopy. He is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) and part of the TSANZ working party for recognition of competency in flexible bronchoscopy.

Professor Igor E. Konstantinov, MD, PhD, FRACS, OAM is an academic cardiothoracic surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Melbourne and has been full professor at the University of Melbourne since 2008. He has published 486 articles in the peer-reviewed medical journals. He graduated from the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1992 and obtained his PhD from the University of Toronto in 2004.

Caitlin completed Radiology training at Monash Health and a Masters of Surgery (Vascular and Endovascular) through the University of Sydney, followed by an Interventional Radiology fellowship at Western Health. She is completing further subspecialty training as a Paediatric Interventional Fellow at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, with concurrent appointments in clinical Radiology and Imaging Informatics at Monash Health, Interventional Radiology at Western Health, as a Teaching Associate at Monash University, and as founding director of the MedicoLegal Consultancy Group.

She is dual-qualified in Medicine and Law, with extensive experience in health policy, informatics, guardianship, medical law, and health professional education, with a research and innovation skillset spanning medical (policy, systems and clinical with a focus on interventional radiology), informatics and legal disciplines.

Dr Vikas Goyal is a Respiratory & Sleep Physician at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. His PhD on various aspects of bronchiectasis in children included 2 world's first international multi-center randomised controlled trials relating to the management of exacerbations published in the Lancet (2018) and the Lancet Respiratory Medicine (2019).

Dr Sandra Chuang (BSc (Med), MBBS (Hons), MPH, FRACP, PhD, AFHEA) is a Clinical Academic (Senior lecturer, Education Focused) at the Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health, School of Clinical Medicine (Randwick Clinical Campus), Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales Sydney (UNSW) Australia. She is a Respiratory and sleep paediatrician at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick, Australia. Dr Chuang has a passion for improving the health of children through education and research partnerships not only as a clinician researcher, but also through her engagement with the community.
