Calvin is a Respiratory Physician and interventional pulmonologist at Western Health (Victoria). He is the current convenor for the TSANZ's lung cancer special interest group.

Dr Ben Markman is a medical oncologist who works at the Alfred Hospital and Cabrini Hospital. He is a Monash University graduate, is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and completed a fellowship in Barcelona, Spain in translational oncology. He specialises in the management of patients with lung cancer and gastrointestinal cancers and has a strong interest in clinical trials. He is head of the lung oncology and co-head of early phase trials at The Alfred.

Dr Lavinia Tan is a Medical Oncologist with a sub-speciality interest in treating patients with lung cancer. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, she completed her specialist training in medical oncology through the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a clinical fellowship focusing on thoracic malignancies at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She subsequently completed a laboratory-based PhD in the Molecular Biomarkers and Translational Genomics Laboratory exploring the utility of circulating tumour DNA to guide precision medicine in solid malignancies. Lavinia’s main research interests focused on understanding and developing novel strategies to overcome resistance to targeted therapies in oncogene driven lung cancers.

Dr Jazmin Eckhaus is an Australian-trained cardiothoracic surgeon with a sub-specialty thoracic surgical practice. She has a special interest in minimally invasive thoracic surgery including robotic surgery, mediastinal work and pleural disease. She is a founding member of the bi-national Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Thoracic Surgical Database, a clinical lecturer at Melbourne University, and is undertaking a master’s degree in clinical ethics at Oxford University with a focus on the ethics of consent. She has public appointments at Eastern Health and St Vincent’s Hospital, and manages private surgical patients at Epworth and St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Michael Ng has been working with GenesisCare since 2009 as a general oncologist, with clinical interests in breast, prostate, gastrointestinal and lung cancer. He is clinical associate professor with the Department of Medicine, Melbourne University.

He has previously been radiotherapy chair of EviQ cancer guidelines (Cancer Institute NSW), and served on the federal government Department of Health on the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) which appraises new medical services proposed for public funding. He has specialist interest in lung cancer, particularly stereotactic radiotherapy in the early and oligometastatic setting.
