Dr Vikas Goyal is a Respiratory & Sleep Physician at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. His PhD on various aspects of bronchiectasis in children included 2 world's first international multi-center randomised controlled trials relating to the management of exacerbations published in the Lancet (2018) and the Lancet Respiratory Medicine (2019).

Professor Justin Denholm (BMed, MBioethics, MPH+TM, MHA, PhD, FRACP) is an infectious diseases physician based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Medical Director of the Victorian Tuberculosis Program. His work includes clinical and public health management of TB and other infectious diseases, as well as research into a variety of aspects of TB relating to ethics, epidemiology, clinical medicine and public health. Justin has an active research program in ethical issues related to tuberculosis in society, including public health policy, screening programs and isolation. He is the current Chair of the National Tuberculosis Advisory Committee.

Vanessa is a paediatric infectious diseases physician and medical microbiologist, and a clinician scientist fellow at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She works at the Royal Children's hospital and the Women’s hospital. Vanessa is also Medical Lead for the donor human milk program at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. She completed a PhD on novel diagnostic tests for tuberculosis in 2018. Her interests include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV, tuberculosis and microbial genomics.

Yara is a general paediatrician, paediatric infectious diseases physician and PhD student at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI). Yara is currently the acting clinical lead of the RCH TB clinic, and team leader of the MCRI Vaccine and Immunisation Research Group.

Professor Ben Marais is Director of the Sydney Infectious Diseases Institute (Sydney ID) at the University of Sydney (www.sydney.edu.au/infectious-diseases-institute). He co-leads the WHO Collaborating Centre in Tuberculosis and the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Tuberculosis (www.tbcre.org.au). As a Paediatric Infectious Diseases specialist his research focuses primarily on how children are affected by the global tuberculosis epidemic and TB transmission within communities, as well as the emergence and the spread of drug resistant disease.
